Ground Hitting

You hit the ground first while chipping the ball.

Make sure the ball is placed far enough back in your stance and do not try to help the ball up.

Place the ball behind the center of your stance. Set a tee on the ground about 4 inches behind the ball. Practice hitting down on the ball without moving the tee. Rock your shoulders back and forwards to hit down on the ball. Continuously accelerate into the ball with firm wrists.
