Tip From the Archives
You cut across the ball, causing contact with the toe of the club, pull hooks or pull slices. You have also noticed that your hands and arms finish much lower than usual.
Make sure you are turning your body more instead of swinging mostly you’re your arms.
Check to see where you are swinging along the target line. Many players that unintentionally cut across the ball have a very strong out to in swinging path. This is common when you swing too much with your arms and not enough with your body during the forward swing. Work on synchronizing your arms and body from the beginning of your downswing until you finish the swing.
